The Nantes-based team, which will compete within the continental division in 2022, joins MPCC. 100% of the French professional teams are now part of MPCC.
“We planned on joining MPCC, it is a guarantee of responsibility and credibility towards all of the stakeholders and our partners”, says team manager Stéphane André. “We aim at raising awareness and give responsibilites to our staff and riders as they commit to the internal rules of MPCC”
Created in 1909, the UC Nantes Atlantique is an historical club of the French amateur cycling scene. In 2022, the club became Team U Nantes Atlantique and turned professional. Its 11-riders roster includes former Cofidis riders Mathias Le Turnier and Emmanuel Morin, and also Léo Barré, who finished 7th at the European Championships U23 in 2021.
